As senior director for Cindy Miller Communications, Jen Bixler leverages 25 years of experience to help organizations and individuals meet a range of needs, from crisis communications and media relations to internal and executive communications.
For much of her career, Jen crisscrossed the country as an award-winning CNN executive producer to cover stories for a global audience of millions on a range of television and digital platforms, including new and emerging social channels. She directed coverage, led teams and worked with marquee journalists such as Anderson Cooper and Dr. Sanjay Gupta. Jen also occasionally appeared on air.
Jen helps organizations and individuals develop and implement cross-platform communication plans, with a particular focus on digital channels. She has worked with Google and the CDC as well as the Hospital for Special Surgery, the Children’s Hospital of Orange County and the Professional Organization of Georgia Educators. She also has provided media services for people impacted by world events, most notably the terrorist attack in San Bernardino, CA, in December 2015.
Jen has helped people and groups tell their stories on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, NPR, The Los Angeles Times and other top-tier media platforms.
Passionate about education and children, Jen is the founder of Lunch Angels, a program that raises money to settle past-due lunch accounts, eliminating stigmas and providing hot lunches for children in need in her community. She also is active in the Georgia PTA. Jen likes to travel, read and teach her children to cook family recipes.
