It all began on a drive to the beach …
It was 2009, about five years after Cindy Miller left a high-profile position at the Atlanta Journal Constitution, years she spent getting an MBA and facilitating leadership development workshops in newsrooms around the country. For Cindy, the big question was, “What’s next?”
On that six-hour drive from Atlanta to Santa Rosa Beach, FL, Cindy and her husband Edward Miller, a pioneer in newsroom leadership and newspaper design, dreamed up what would evolve into Cindy Miller Communications. Or as we call it now, CMC.
Building on what we know best — communicating, problem-solving and writing — we’ve developed a company that helps others succeed. Whether we’re solving the heat-of-the-flame issues surrounding a fired CEO dominating headlines or crafting a communications strategy for a growing company, the CMC team gets it done.
And we get it done well. Our clients come back — or stay with us for years as we continue to be a valuable voice on their leadership team.
We’ve come a long way since that drive to the beach.
